THE INTERVENTION
Java for Campania is part of the broader regional strategy of innovation of training processes and support for employment, with particular reference to young people with high skills and in transition from school and university to the labour market.
From the analysis of the main indicators useful for outlining the innovative propensity of an economic system, it emerged that human capital qualified in the JAVA language and, in general, certified in basic IT skills is scarce in Campania, despite the fact that the employment outlet is decidedly interesting.
The project provides for the training of 240 young people through a 40-day course at Oracle Italia, at the end of which they will be able to take the exams for the Oracle Java Programmer I certification. The best 50 will be sent on a work placement with pre-selected companies in Campania, which will benefit from hiring incentives; the next 50 will have a six-month work placement with a monthly contribution.

INFO OF TEST
The questions in the selection test will cover the following topics:
– 40% questions concerning basic programmation (object-oriented programming)
– 40% questions concerning basic informatics (reference to ECDL Computer Essentials, On Line Essentials, IT Security, Online Collaboration modules)
– 20% psycho-aptitude questions
20% of the questions will be formulated in English.
