The desk is the result of the work of a public-private partnership and will provide advanced and specialised services to companies registered with the Chamber of Commerce, offering advice to companies on programmes, incentives and employment contracts, in close connection with the employment centres that collect job and training applications.<\/p>\n
Sonia Palmeri, Regional Councillor for Employment, stressed: “This is a further step in our strategic plan for the general reorganisation of public employment services. It was not enough just to reorganise the forty-six employment centres which, today, are moving swiftly towards the phase of total reorganisation, in terms of structures and requalification. We have to create an efficient, fair and inclusive labour market, and giving unitary governance to the subject of policies dedicated to work means operating with homogeneous procedures and increasingly efficient systems. But,’ Palmeri added, ‘we will do more and we will distinguish ourselves in Italy for our ethics and sensitivity: we are about to issue a call for tenders for new operators in the employment centres and I anticipate that there will be a new figure, namely the mediator for the employment inclusion of the disabled. The President of the Chamber of Commerce, Tommaso De Simone, stressed that Caserta, which is often in the spotlight for unpleasant news items, is, on the contrary, a province with a large, lively and innovative entrepreneurial fabric, and the opening of the Spazio Lavoro desk is an example of this and a good practice of effective cooperation between the public and private sectors.<\/p>\n
At the end of the event, the Chamber of Commerce of Caserta and the Campania Region signed a cooperation agreement that will last one year and provides, among other things, advice on the system of national and regional incentives, internships and apprenticeships, targeted employment, publication of vacancies, training needs, research and selection of personnel.<\/p>\n
The desk is located at the Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Palazzo Era in Piazza Sant’Anna and will be open to the public from 5 November on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:45 to 11:45 and from 15:00 to 15:45.<\/p>\n
