Regione Campania participated at Ecomondo in Rimini, the largest national fair event dedicated to environmental issues, from 8th to 11th November 2022 with an institutional stand of the POR Campania FSE 2014-2020. The highlight of the attendance at the Rimini event was the conference “The Environment in Campania. Is it a real turning point? ” organized on Thursday, November 10th at the Innovation Arena of the Fellini city fair complex. In front of the large audience present, the Vice President of the Campania Region with responsibility for the Environment, Fulvio Bonavitacola, took stock of seven years of regional policies to protect the environment that have led to an epochal turning point a Region that, only ten years ago, represented a failed management model that culminated with the waste crisis in Naples and its province and which today, on the contrary, sees it as a partner of Ecomondo, and among the leading regions in Italy in various fields, starting with the management of the waste cycle.

At the conference at the Ecomondo fair in Rimini, Edo Ronchi, President of the Foundation Foundation for Sustainable Development spoke as well as the CEOs of Campania companies operating in the sectors of energy and water and waste cycle management.
