Actions to be supported

  • Construction of the National Directory of Educational and Professional Qualifications linked to the European Framework (EQF) and implementation of the national public system of certification of competences with the development and/or improvement of guidance services and validation and certification of learning outcomes achieved also in non-formal and informal contexts
  • Orientation and skills assessment actions
  • Digital literacy and inclusion to stimulate the use of the web, digital public services and tools for dialogue, collaboration and civic participation online (open government)

Specific Objective 14

Increasing the skills of the workforce and facilitating mobility, job placement/reintegration (RA 10.4).

Actions to be supported

  • Training measures (also on individual application) closely linked to the needs of job placement and reintegration, with priority given to the most sensitive targets (over 55s, long-term unemployed, citizens with low levels of schooling) and specialised training initiatives (in particular aimed at the green economy, the blue economy, personal services, social and health services, enhancement of heritage and cultural activities) and entrepreneurship. Training pathways linked to the issuing of qualifications included in the national or regional lists (also on individual application) accompanied, where appropriate, by guidance actions.
  • Actions to upgrade skills aimed at the whole workforce (including digital skills), including temporary employees, self-employed workers, owners of micro-enterprises, cooperative members, also through innovative methodologies and in line with the economic development guidelines of the territories
  • Training to raise skills to strengthen OT 4 (energy) and OT 6 (environment, culture and tourism)
  • Training actions aimed at qualifying new professional figures in the green economy sectors
  • Support for the dissemination of doctorates and research grants with an industrial focus
  • Traineeships and mobility initiatives, including transnational ones, as privileged learning and professionalisation opportunities.
  • Support for the mobility also transnational mobility of researchers for the promotion of research collaboration networks also with other European regions
  • Construction of the National Directory of Educational and Professional Qualifications linked to the European Framework (EQF) and implementation of the national public system of certification of competences with the development and/or improvement of guidance services and validation and certification of learning outcomes achieved also in non-formal and informal contexts
  • Definition of service standards and implementation of the National Quality Plan for Education and Training
