Confiscated assets, the first exhibition Forum in Naples from 1 to 2 April
On Friday 1 and Saturday 2 April the first exhibition forum on confiscated assets will take place at the Stazione Marittima in Naples.
It is a national event of comparison and merit, with the participation of prestigious speakers, experts of national caliber and protagonists who have always been involved in this sector. The aim is to network, to systematize and enhance the many significant experiences that are also present in other regions of Italy. Third sector, cooperatives and associations, which operate in the world of confiscated assets, will have the opportunity to exhibit their products, projects and tell their experiences. A dynamic moment made of relationships and communities that meet.
One of the most important activities, in the strategies of prevention and repression of organized crime, is the property contrast implemented through confiscation, management and destination for social purposes of the confiscated assets. For years, their reuse has been part of the mission that the Campania Region has put in place, with various legislative and planning measures. The number of assets confiscated from the Camorra in our territory is high, second only to Sicily.
The regional law April 16, 2012 number 7, “New interventions for the enhancement of assets seized and confiscated from organized crime”, supports and favors the return, to the communities, of the assets stolen from the mafias and provides indications to encourage the interest of young people, the realization of innovative and sustainable projects over time, capable of promoting positive social, economic and employment effects through the definition and structuring of networks and districts of solidarity economy.
