Schools of healthcare specialisation

In order to support investment in human capital, professional specialisation and the enhancement of the skills of young Campania graduates, in accordance with the guidelines already applied in the 2007-2013 programming cycle, the Campania Region has decided to co-finance the Schools of Specialisation in Medicine, thereby contributing, in addition, to strengthening the measures already supported by national resources, also in view of the significant demand for young graduates who meet the entry requirements for these specialisation courses.

Therefore, in line with the objectives set out in the 2007/2013 programming, as well as with the 2014/2020 programming, the Campania Region established, with D.G.R. no. 19 of 07/02/2014, that resources of a maximum amount of € 10,000,000.00 were to be allocated to support actions for the “Schools of Specialisation in Health Care”, to be taken from the funds of the POR Campania FSE, and subsequently, with D.D. no. 29 of 26/02/2014 issued a Public Notice addressed to the Universities of Campania for the presentation of expressions of interest and project proposals for the award of specialist training contracts of the “Schools of Specialisation in Medicine and Surgery” for graduates born and/or resident in Campania.

The project proposals submitted involved the University of Campania L. Vanvitelli, formerly SUN, and the University of Naples “Federico II”. Vanvitelli, formerly SUN, and the University of Naples ‘Federico II’.
