Workshop creativity for women: fashion and design. Fourth meeting in the cycle of 5 events to overcome the ‘gender gap’
On Monday 7th November 2022, from 9:30 to 13:30, at the Officina Vanvitelli San Leucio, in the monumental sight of the Belvedere of San Leucio (CE), the workshop “The creativity workshop for women: fashion and design ” will take place.
The event collects the narration of the protagonists of some entrepreneurial stories born from the acquisition of technical-specialist skills, marked by sustainability, during the attendance of the course at Officina Vanvitelli. Established in 2019 from the activities of the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design of the Luigi Vanvitelli University of Campania, the Officina represents a light district for fashion and design in Campania that aims to encourage the scouting and implementation of creative talents, with the aim of shortening the distance between academic training and the production sector of fashion and design through a contribution to the development of new professions and innovative companies.
The Workshop “The creativity workshop for women: fashion and design” is the fourth meeting of a cycle of 5 events – promoted by Regione Campania, Directorate General for Social and Socio-Health Policies and implemented by Sviluppo Campania SpA as part of the project “Tracing the differences. Entrepreneurship, science and knowledge to overcome the gender gap” – which aims to provide information and impetus to the complete implementation of the lines of action provided for by DGR no. 112 of 27.02.2018.
The intervention is funded by the POR Campania ESF 2014-2020, as part of Axis I which promotes territorial information and animation campaigns aimed at spreading knowledge of the tools available to facilitate the participation of women in the labor market.
The series of meetings “Tracing the differences. Entrepreneurship, science and knowledge to overcome the gender gap “intends to propose moments of confrontation that also include the enhancement of “positive actions” (best cases at work, experiences of women) and information (opportunities, calls for proposals, intervention measures to overcome gender gap at work), with witnesses from business and knowledge, aimed at different target groups of women looking for new training and professionalization paths, artisans or third sector operators.
